Family Vacation at Flaming Gorge

We spent the last week up at Flaming Gorge. It is a long standing Harper tradition to spend a week every summer up there, I've been doing it as long as I can remember. This is probably my favorite place to go. When we come around the corner and see the lake, it just feels like home. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning and I just can't wait to ski my guts out until I am so physically exhausted, I can barely crawl back into the boat. Sounds fun doesn't it? Anyway, this year was no exception, we had a blast and skiied and skiied and skiied. Staying in a tent for a week with 2 little kids is always a bit interesting, but we still all had fun.

Summer Fun

For those of you who don't know, Kyli is out here visiting us. We have been doing all sorts of fun things. We have gone to the dinosaur museum, scera swimming pool, the children's gardens, grandma's pool, legacy pool, cherry hill water park, farm country, and kangaroo zoo. So as you can imagine we have been having a lot of fun! Here are just a couple pictures from all of our adventures.

We had a fun 4th. I got to go skiing that morning which is my favorite way to spend the holiday. Then we went to my parents and played with the kids in the sprinklers. That night we had some friends over for a BBQ and fireworks, we had a really fun day. Tate is has been afraid of the fireworks every year. This year he still didn't like them much but at least he stayed outside and watched some of them. Haylie loved them.
